New Mexico Board of Nursing is the state government agency established by law to protect the public by regulating the practice of Nurses in the state of New Mexico. New Mexico Board of Nursing is responsible for the implementation and enforcement of any state laws related to nursing license, nursing practices, nursing education, and New Mexico nursing schools. Nursing Board members are generally made up of both members of the public and those within the nursing profession, such as Registered Nurses. Members of the New Mexico Board of Nursing may be appointed by the Governor and/or the state of New Mexico Legislature.
